Shortlands Golf Club is only a short drive away. Bromley
Town Centre has very good shopping facilities and the Churchill
Theatre. There is a leisure centre and a pool in the Beckenham
area, plus a library.
Both Bromley and Beckenham have a good selection of restaurants.There
are good links to Central London via Shortlands, Bromley South
and Clockhouse train stations.
Trains run to the Kent coast direct from Bromley South.
There is a bus which goes to Heathrow Airport via Kingston

enjoy morning coffee and afternoon tea. This room is used
for a variety of functions - some arranged by the Resident
House Manager, on other occasions, card evenings, etc.

- Laundry facilities are located on the third floor and
consist of 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. |

| Hairdressing Salon
- This is located on the third floor, equipped with a
hairdressing basin and dryer. This room is for the use
of residents and their personal hairdressers. |

| Video Entry Control
- Each apartment is fitted with a video entry monitor
which enables residents to speak directly from within
their apartment to their visitor and then allows them
to give the visitor access through the main front door. |

| Emergency Intercom System
- Challoner Court is connected to a Central Control operated
by White Cliffs Careline. As well as emergency pull cords
in each of the rooms of the apartments, the apartment
has a pendant which can be worn by the resident and will
activate the alarm system in times of an emergency. This
allows you to make contact with the Manager during on
duty hours and with White Cliffs Careline at all other
times. |

| Gardens - The gardens
are landscaped and cared for by the House Manager on a
regular basis. |

| Car Parking - The
car park is situated at the front of the building. Some
of the apartments have allocated spaces, the remaining
spaces are on a 'first come, first served' basis. |

| House Manager - At
Challoner Court we have a husband and wife team who occupy
a ground floor apartment and they are on site 5 days a
week. The other 2 days are covered by the Deputy House
Manager who does not live in when on duty. |
